Hi Michael,

I followed all the steps as outlined in Chapter 2 of your book to create the first HelloWorld bot. I registered the bot, got the id and password and added to the webconfig and re-published. The app works in the Bot Framework Developer portal page. However, when I invoke the endpoint URL from the messaging endpoint filed (https://helloworldbot20170314122301.azurewebsites.net/api/messages) I get the following message:

<Error>

<Message>

The requested resource does not support http method 'GET'.

</Message>

</Error>

Hmm I can't imagine what went wrong. Try downloading my sample code and publishing it to see if there is a configuration issue with the Azure website.

Tried it with a fresh download and getting an error when I Test in the BOT Framework registration portal. Th error is:

MethodNotAllowed The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.

I just checked my live bot running the same code from the download page on this site and it is working fine. So, I am sorry but I am at a loss as to why yours is not working. Perhaps http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/botframework can help because the Microsoft Bot team monitors that.

I was getting these errors but I found the bot worked anyway with the emulator, so I ignored them and moved on.
